Gaynez Hartley

Gaynez H. Hartley, age 93, of Plantersville, AL, passed away February 7, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lee Hartley, Sr.; brother, Henry G. Heflin and sister, Juanita Heflin Connell. She is survived by her sons, Arthur L. (Dell) Hartley, Charles W. (Barbara) Hartley, John O. (Toni) Hartley and Dean C. (Elaine) Hartley; niece that was raised as a daughter, Alyson (David) Ellerin; brother, Lownes O. Heflin; sister, Villa Mae Heflin; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be Friday, February 11, 2011 at Jones Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dave Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Jones Baptist Church.
