George Wayne Finley was born September 18, 1956 to the late Mammi Marie Finley and George Washing Finley.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Faye Finley and later wife, Susan Finley
He passed away April 30, 2016 leaving behind his daughters, Rebecca (Jon) Chappelle and Sarah (Matthew) Langston; two grandchildren; brother, Author Finley; sisters, Gretcheal (Butch) Wiggins, Georgeann (Mike) Massey, Jackie (Tim) Ferrell, Delorise (Jim) Vansandt and Wendy (Chris) Smith; fiancé, April Julian; honorary daughter, Katelynn Smith and honorary son, John Smith.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Selma Church of God with Rev. Ronnie Blankenship officiating. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
The family is accepting flowers or memorial donations to help with final expenses may be made in lieu thereof.
