George Troha

George William Troha of Camden passed away at Park Place Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Selma on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the age of 83.

He was born in Selma, Alabama on March 14, 1939 as the son of the late George Grazra Troha and the late Mattie Bell Tolbert Troha.

Mr. Troha spent the majority of his life as a carpenter.

He is surivived by his loving wife, Nancy Parrish Troha; children, Tim (Tammy) Troha, Teresa (Joe) Harrison, Tim (Heather) Troha, Troy (Brandi) Troha, and Angie Troha; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Troha is preceded in death by parents, George and Mattie Troha; daughter, Terrie Girard; grandson, Chad Atkins; and granddaughter, Ashley Troha.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande with The Rev. Deacon Bracken Ingram officiating.

There will be no visitation, everyone please meet in the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Bain Henderson, Tyler Dumas, Kale Troha, Reid Dumas, Casey Troha, Quinton Underwood, and Nick Troha.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Final care and arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to the professional staff of the Selma Funeral Home.
