Gladys Thompson

Gladys Thompson, age 87, of Selma, AL, passed away June 6, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard G. Thompson, Sr., parents, Thomas J. and Mary K. Potter; daughter, Mildred Irene Thompson; sister, Hazel Vaughan; brother, Thomas Edward Potter and grandchildren, Charlene Hubbard and Angel Williams. Surviving are her children, DeLores (Doug) Stewart, Elaine Wilson, Thomas (Ann) Thompson, Dorothy Caver, Glen (Myra) Thompson and Kim (Paul) Williams; sisters, Lucille Williamson and Margaret (Frank) Wilson; grandchildren, Sherry Maser, Teresa Alexander, Glenn Wilson, Derrick Wilson, Michael Thompson, Chris Thompson, Jeaneane Nichols, Eric Dameron, Brandon Caver, Jonathan Williams and seventeen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Selma Funeral Home from 6-7:00 p.m. and a memorial service following at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Clark Skelton officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to be made to Cahaba Hospice, 401 Church Street, Selma, AL, 36701.
