Glenda Mae Roberts passed away on July 14, 2024. She was born on November 4, 1939 to the late Robert Harrison and Daisy O’Mary Harrison. She led a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep love for her community.
Glenda served as a dedicated bookkeeper at Craig Airforce Base. Her true joy came from spending time with her beloved family. Whether gathering for holidays or simply sharing everyday moments together, she treasured every opportunity to be surrounded by those she held dear. Her love knew no bounds, and her family meant the world to her.
Glenda's passion for music was evident in her lifelong dedication to playing the piano. For over 55 years, she graced the sanctuary of Cambridge Christian Church with beautiful melodies that touched the hearts of all who listened. Her talent brought solace and joy to many over the years, leaving behind a legacy of music and harmony. Glenda found solace in the water while swimming and enjoyed the thrill of playing softball. Described as someone who "never met a stranger," Glenda's outgoing personality and genuine kindness made everyone she encountered feel at ease and welcomed. Whether old friends or new acquaintances, she had a way of making people feel right at home in her presence.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert E. Harrison, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Lyle “Bobby” Roberts; children, Tim (Betty) Roberts, Rex Roberts (Angela Gilson) and Mary (David) Molina; grandchildren, Logan (Sarah) Roberts, Kayla (Jack) Diven, Danielle (Steven) Russo, Brandon Molina, Matthew Molina and Erin Molina; two great-grandchildren; sister, Patsy Willcut; sister-in-law, Catherine Harrison.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Dr. Ed Eaton officiating. Interment will follow at Cambridge Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m., prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons.
