Gordon Lee Gougler passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 85. Gordon's life was his work. He was a devoted master electrician. Throughout his accomplished career, he derived immense satisfaction from his vocation as an electrician, where his commitment to excellence was only matched by his dedication to serving the community through various mission trips with churches, where he shared his skills for the greater good.
Gordon proudly served in the Air Force, an experience that shaped his character and values. His tenure as a mason also encompassed a significant part of his life, allowing him to leave a lasting impact on the structures and people who benefited from his craftsmanship. Gordon was a humble man with strong faith in the Lord.
He is survived by his sons, Gordon Randall Gougler of Andalusia, AL, and Joel Trampas Gougler and His wife Tonya of Dothan,AL, grand-daughter, Ann Kathryn House and her husband Joe of Beatrice, AL,grandsons, Clinton Lee and his wife Alison of Lenhaven, FL, and Micheal Landon McCray of Layette, IN, great-grandson, Hank Hawkins House, sister, Donna and Carl Brookover of Bladensburg, Ohio.
Gordon is also survived by his companion and life long partner, Carolyn Cason of Prattville, AL.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Gougler, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage, and his son, Alan Gougler.
Gordon Lee Gougler will be remembered as a dedicated professional, a loving father, and a man who truly believed in the power of helping others through his skills and compassion. His spirit will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
