Gracie Lorraine Stifflemire Drinkard passed away August 21, 2014 at the age of 94.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Earl Drinkard; parents, Robert James Stifflemire and Maggie Lou Ann Allen Stifflemire; brothers, Greg Spencer Stifflemire, Leo James Stifflemire, and Darwin Elwood Stifflemire.
Mrs. Drinkard is survived by her son, James Earl Drinkard (Julie); granddaughter, Fran Drinkard Spivey (Wood); great grandchildren, Ally Elizabeth Spivey and Allen Wood Spivey IV; sisters, Eleanor Stifflemire Inabinett, Evelyn Stifflemire Albright (Thomas) and Minnie Fay Stifflemire Wilkinson (Robert).
The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Graveside services will be in Pineview Memory Gardens Sunday, August 24, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Reba Wiley and Rev. Russell Morrow officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Active pallbearers will be Frank Driskell, Morris Veach, Donnie Stone, Jesse Harris, George Bowden, and Richard Boozer.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Church Street United Methodist Church, 214 Church Street, Selma, AL 36701
