Haddox Twilley

Haddox Leroy "Roy" Twilley, age 95, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Grey Twilley; son, Colonel Leroy G. Twilley; daughter-in-law, Valda Ivey Twilley; son-in-law, Roy Winston Stone; brother, Marvin Twilley; sister, Ruth Twilley Agee and brother-in-law, Jerome Agee. Mr. Twilley is survived by his son, Glenn M. (Debbie) Twilley; daughters, Patricia T. Stone and Ann T. (Bob) Edwards; sister-in-law, Bonnie Twilley; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Sumerlin and Dr. Robert Taylor officiating. Interment will be at New Live Oak Cemetery. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Ocmulgee Baptist Church, Rt. 6, Box 378, Selma, AL, 36701.
