Harris Russell

Harris Lampley Russell, age 94 passed away at his home on November 10, 2012. Mr. Russell was a WWII Veteran. He is survived by his wife; Thelma Potts Russell, 4 Children; Harris Mitchum Russell (Dawn), Marcus Dewayne Russell ( Marilyn), Tina Russell Harrell (Jimmy), Tara Russell Baker (Tommy), 6 grandchildren; Jennifer Russell, Kory Russell, Aaron Russell, Kasey Robinson Reasor, Lauren Baker Jones, Mandy Baker and 4 great-grand children. Visitation is Monday, November 12, 5-7p at Lawrence Brown Funeral Home. Gravesides services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Shiloh Baptist Church, Sardis, Alabama with the Rev. Bill Gardner officiating. Honoary pall bearers will be Ken Schroeder, and Whet Wilkinson. Pall bearers are: Kory Russell, Jason Reasor, Russell Autrey, Blake Autrey, William Autrey and Keith Lindsey. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the National Adoption Foundation, United Methodist Children's Home, or your favorite charity. The family would like to give a special thanks to Ken and Betty Schroeder(faithful neighbors), Pam Caver, Cahaba Hospice, Grace and Julia(caregivers), and Pastor Bill Gardner.
