Hattie Scurlock

Hattie Flora Scurlock, age 93, of Selma died Sunday August 19, 2012. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Flora Nichols; son, Jack Broadhead; father and mother, Jackson and Velma Henderson. Survivors include her daughter, Debra Smith (James); grandsons, Phillip Higginbotham (Brenda), Ben Higginbotham (Alyda) and Randy Higginbotham; 13 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m.Tuesday August 21, 2012 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Reverend Larry Stover officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Deramus Higginbotham, Tony Payton, Roger Nichols, Eugene Nichols and Butch Huffman.
