Herbert Fancher

Herbert Eugene Fancher, Jr. went on to be with the Lord December 5, 2012, at the age of 79. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Fancher; brothers, William Fancher and Bobby Fancher; sisters, Sue Seagle and Magalene Mills and son-in-law, Billy Joe Oliver. He is survived by his sons, Rickey (Lisa) Fancher and Terry Fancher; daughter, Becky (Bryan) Jausel; brothers, Sonny Fancher and Thomas Fancher; sisters Catherine Turquitt, Betty Moore, Mildred Prather and Judy Lassiter; brother-in-law, Marvin (Marchelle) Barrett; grandchildren, Michael Fancher, Steven Oliver, Joshua Lockhart, Lauren Lockhart, Mandi Fancher and Nolan Fancher; great-grandchildren, Micheala Lockhart, Jace Lockhart and Michael Fancher, Jr. and special nephew, Eugene (Gwen) Hall. Funeral services will take place at University Highway Church of God on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Billy Boatwright and Rev. Joey Boatwright officiating. Interment will be in the University Highway Church of God Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday, December 7, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Eugene Hall, Steven Oliver, Michael Fancher, Chass Logan, Keith Chandler, Thomas Seagle and Bryan Jausel.
