Mr. Hermon Houston age 86 of Selma, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma. He was born in Stanton on April 19, 1934 to the late Henry Grady Houston and the late Flora Etta Dyer Houston.
He was a carpenter.
He is survived by his children, Harold "Hal" (Helga) Houston, Daniel (Sandy) Houston, Stafford Houston, and Angela Winkler; 13 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry G. and Flora D. Houston; and siblings, Henry Houston, Leighton Houston, Kenneth Houston, Eulin Houston, Doris Gay, Mildred Nix, and Hazel Atchison.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery in Stanton with Rev. Denny McClendon officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to Selma Funeral Home.
