Hilton "Buddy" Reid

Hilton C. “Buddy” Reid, Jr. passed away September 12, 2021 at the age of 83. He was born August 13, 1938 to the late Hilton C. Reid, Jr. and Lillie Belle Reid.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Carol Reid; daughter, Deborah Leigh Reid; son, Henley “Butch” Reid and brother, Kenneth Reid.

He is survived by his children, Thomas (Jennifer) Reid, Daniel (Shannon) Reid, Christopher (Tiffany) Reid and James “Nat” (Grace) Reid; grandchildren, Gracie Reid, Dalton (Mallorie) Reid, Dillon (Kimmi) Reid, Tucker Reid, Abby (Tyler) Powerll, Turner Reid, Kolby Reid, Mary Katherine Edwards, Mason Reid, Austin Reid, Matthew Edwards and James Nathaniel Reid, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Averie-Leigh, Adeline and Lettie-Blayke; sister, Beverly June Reid and brother, Johnny Reid.

Graveside services will be Friday, September 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Plantersville Christian Cemetery. Visitation will be at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home from 12:00-1:00 p.m., before the service.
