After discharge, his film career continued for over thirty years with the U. S. Department of Agriculture, Motion Picture Service, where he served as cameraman, motion picture director and finally, producer. His films received national and international awards of recognition. They moved into the house in 1986 and became active in the Autauga County Rural Development Committee of Prattville and the Selma Chapter of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. They attended Bethel Baptist Church of rural Autauga County. Fuzzy always had a smile on his face and an ever-ready array of witty stories, fully reflecting a mischievous sense of humor and an enthusiasm for life.
