Ila Meister

Ila Mae Meister, age 89, went to our Lord on June 8, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman S. Meister; son-in-law, Vernon Hale; parents, Charles and Rosa Ellis; in-laws, Fredrick and Elsie Meister; brothers, Charles (Vickey) Ellis and Eugene (Jerrie) Ellis; sisters, Becky (Alvis) Frith and Marie (Eddie) Ward; three nephews and two nieces. She is survived by her daughters, Glenda Hale and Norma (Larry) Hodnett; grandchildren, Stacey (Rickey) Harper, Ellen (David) Barrett and Juss Fredrick W. Meister; three great-granddaughters, Brady Harper, Morgan Harper and Kelsie Barrett; one great-great granddaughter, Aya Rose and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in New Live Oak Cemetery with Mason Harris officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, June 10, 2016 from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O.
