Inez Ferrell Morrow

Our beloved Mother, Inez Ferrell Morrow, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at her home in Selma, Alabama at the age of 83.   She was born in Kettle Island, Kentucky on March 25, 1940, a daughter of the late Lewis and Norma Collett Ferrell.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Mickey Gorenflo (1972), Joe Morrow (2020), son, Bert Howard (2021), brother, Toleman Ferrell and sisters, Corena Cox, Geraldine Henline, Elonda Defevers, Hildreth Rice, Lola Howard, and Judy Baker.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Mike Gorenflo, Ricky and Shawn Gorenflo, Alvin and Carla Gorenflo, grandchildren, Joey Gorenflo, Elizabeth Gorenflo, Vanessa Felts, Stephanie Holbrook, Hunter Gorenflo, Camron Gorenflo, Devon Gorenflo, Kristy Perkins, Alex Gorenflo, Hollie Gorenflo, brother, James Ferrell, sister, Charlotte Kimball, and many great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

We are forever grateful to Betty Scott, our mom’s daily caregiver, for being there to care for her in our time of need.  We are also extremely grateful to the hospice staff from Traditions Health Hospice & Palliative Care for the sweet and loving care of our mother.  Thank you all from the bottom of our heart!

Psalm 105:8     We pray, Lord, that you would be faithful to those whom you have chosen to be nurses, doctors, and all those in healthcare. Lord, would you remember their families, as well, and restore in them a faithfulness in your covenant.

Visitation starts at 10:00 am with the service starting at 11:00 am on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with nephew, Neal McGee officiating. Burial will be in the New Live Oak Cemetery (Selma, AL) with grandsons and others serving as pallbearers.
