Iris Moss

Iris Fondren Moss passed away May 7, 2023 at the age of 84. She was born June 8, 1938 in to the late John Fondren and Jessie Sims Fondren.
 
She was preceded in death her first husband, Levi Brewer; later husbands, Wilbur L. Moss and Kenneth Greene, II; children, Patrick Brewer, Theresa Taylor, Patsy Hammitt, Emma L. Anderson and Levi Brewer, Jr.; brothers, William Fondren, John Melford Fondren, Jr., Archie Fondren and Randall Fondren.
 
She is survived by her children, Kathy Long (Vince Hensley), Barbara J. Gilmore, Rickie L. (Sandy) Brewer, Dickie (Roxanne) Brewer, Steve (Marlana) Brewer, Linda (Dean) Langston and Micky (Veda) Brewer and numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Ressie Tidmore, Sherrie Bagsby and Melba Coats and countless nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services will be Friday, May 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Spring Hill Church in Greensboro, Alabama with Bro. Dwight Weaver officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma directing. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m., prior to the service.
 
Pallbearers will be Rickie Brewer, Dickie Brewer, Steve Brewer, Dean Langston, Vince Hensley and Jonathan Owens.
