Ivy Jones

Ivy Nell Jones, of Selma, AL, passed away September 15, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Jones; son, Jimmy Lee Jones; brother, William Langford; sisters, Earline Howell, Voncile Godwin, Estelle Griffith, and brothers-in-law, Harmon Howell and Kenneth Godwin. Surviving are her children, Linda (Robert) Chappell, Laura (Oree) Nobles and Wayne (Jan) Jones; brother, L. G. (Mildred) Langford; sisters, Betty Jo (Dave) Bouley and Sue York; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Beard officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be grandson and nephews: Jason Jones, Devin Myracle, Darryl Jones, Justin York, Keith Belcher and Lee Robertson.
