J. Harrison, Jr.

John Casey Harrison, Jr., age 87, died June 2, 2013 at home. He was preceded in death by Sarah, his wife of fifty-nine years. He was also preceded by his parents, Casey and Allie Mae Harrison; son, John Walter (Buzzy); grandson, Walt and sister, Alice Cunningham. He is survived by a daughter, Pat Harrison of Selma; two sons, Jeff (Donna) Harrison of Selma and Clay (Theresa) Harrison of Graceville, FL and sister, Ellen Heath of Chattanooga, TN. He had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Casey was a veteran of World War II and Korea. He practiced public accounting in Selma until his retirement. The family will receive friends at Selma Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 5-7:00 p.m. A private burial will be at a later date in the family plot in Casey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Casey Cemetery Association, 8521 US Hwy 80 E, Selma, AL, 36701 or to a favorite charity.
