Jack Morrison

Jack Lanno Morrison, age 77, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away October 28, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph L. and Josephine T. Morrison and brother, Joseph L. Morrison. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Morrison; children, Maura (Jim) Nelson, Joey Morrison and Mike (Sharon) Morrison; grandchildren, Ashley Duckett, Hailey (Brennan) Nedley, Taylor (Shana) Edwards, Lauren (Josh) Headley and J. Cole Nelson; great-grandchildren, Connor Duckett and Addie Duckett, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Friday, October 30, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ken Blake, Pastor Alan Yarbrough and Bro. James Bozeman officiating. Interment will be in New Live Oak Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Earl Edwards, Taylor Edwards, Johnny Ray Harris, Josh Headley, Brennan Nedley and Lee Peake. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Broadhead, Sam Looney, Bob Phillips and Bobby Wasden. Jack was a member of Northside Baptist Church and the Elks Lodge in Selma, AL. He was Sales Manager at Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Northside Baptist Church, 2950 Citizens Pkwy., Selma, AL 36702, or to a favorite charity.
