Jackie DeLoach age 74 of Selma, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Baptist Hospital South in Montgomery.
He was born on September 4, 1947 in Chilton County to the late Doc DeLoach and the late Gertie Lee Lowery DeLoach.
Jackie worked many years as a mechanic for various places around Selma and finally retiring from American Candy.
He was a devoted Christian, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to all who knew him. He was also a proud member of the Burnsville Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ann DeLoach; children, Pam VanderLaan (CR), Ken DeLoach (Kathy), and Vicki Sims (Robert); grandchildren, Brittney Williams (Shawn), Joseph Bender, Ben DeLoach, Ashlee Pitts (Will), Scott DeLoach, Jami Sims, and Bradley Sims; great-grandchildren, Kaden Pitts and Liam Sims; and niece, Weida Sheehan (Robert).
He is preceded in death by his parents, Doc and Gertie DeLoach; grandson, Joshua Bender; sister, Annetta Sexton; and niece, Wanda Gail Edwards.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. John Barefoot officiating. Jackie will take his final ride at 1:30 p.m. at Bursnville Volunteer Fire Department.
