James Leonard

James B. Leonard, age 82, a resident of Tyler, TX and formerly from Selma, AL, passed away July 22, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Harrison Leonard and a daughter, Sue Leonard Cotton. Surviving are his children, Steve Leonard and wife, Vickie; Cindy Leonard; and Joe and Sandra Cotton; six grandchildren, Brian Wilkinson, Millie Leonard Tanner, Abby Leonard, Rachael Wilkinson, Pamela Cotton and Christy Cotton and 2 great-grandchildren, Luke Tanner and Jake Tanner. Graveside services will be Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Pineview Memory Gardens with Rev. Guy Anderson officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 25, 2008 from 6-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Elkdale Baptist Church, 2221 Elkdale Street, Selma, AL, 36701.
