James Brian Bedwell passed away on June 16, 2021 at the age of 41.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents JC and Annie Belle Bedwell, his maternal grandparents Barte and Myrtle McCall and Howard Osborne, and his uncle Fred White.
He is survived by his parents Lonnie and JoAnn Bedwell, his brother Bradley Bedwell (Jessica), his uncles David Wolff and Frankie McCall, his aunts Patsy Giani, Carol James (Marvin), Debbie Merchant Silva (William) and Joann Bedwell Bell, his daughter Hannah Strohmer, his nephews Jase and Lucas Bedwell. Although he has many cousins, he was especially close to his cousins Kaeri, Punkin, Frankie, Jr., and the cousin he considered a sister Kristen Duplesis.
Brian was affectionally known as Booger to his friends. He was extremely smart and and able to do anything he set his mind to. Although he dropped out of school in the twelfth grade, he got his high school diploma at the age of 37 and went to welding school. He was an excellent swimmer who was in the Junior Olympics twice. He also earned his Eagle Scout while a member of Troop 26. Above all, he was extremely loyal to family and friends and always had a smile and was always willing to help others.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. A private family burial will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens.
Pall bearers will be Randy Duplesis, Romman Duplesis, Chace Thomas, Ricky Worthington, Huck Morgan, and Jay Williams.
Family request no live flowers. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Tourette Syndrome Foundation.
