James "Jimbo" Leonard Bennett, Jr. age 49 of Selma, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 in Macon, GA. He was born in Selma on March 24, 1971 to the late James L. Bennett, Sr. and the late Rose Dennis Bennett Turner.
Jimbo leaves behind his children, Colin James Bennett and Luke Wayne Bennett; sisters, Teresa Bennett (Randy) Martin and Brenda Bennett (Blakie) Logue; aunts and uncles, Julia Hughey, Burnice (Richard) Turner, Shirley (Robert) Stone, Connie (Jackie) Phillips, Lennie Malon, Billy (Dorothy) Bennett, Johnny (Ann) Bennett, Red Bennett, Gene Hisel, and Bubba Dennis; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James L. Bennet, Sr. and Rose Bennett Turner.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 2:00 pm.
The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Friday at the funeral home.
Interment will be Pineview Memory Gardens.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to their uncle, Gene Hisel for all of his love and support.
Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to Selma Funeral Home.
