James Conaway

James "Doug" Conaway passed away August 4, 2016 at the age of 60. He was born January 25, 1956 to James Antonio "Tony" Conaway and Anne Brice Conaway.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Conaway; sons, Chris (Katherine) Conaway, Samuel Conaway (Jessica Carmean) and Russell Conaway; mother, Anne Brice Conaway; sisters, Pat (Ralph) Holley and Beth Godfrey; brothers-in-law, Donnie (Debra) Pike, Ronnie (Sharon) Pike and Eddie (Karen) Pike and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Yarbrough officiating. The family will have a private burial service. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are: Phillip Daniels, Gene Pegues, Tommy Cogle, Wilbur Sanders, Ricky Boozer, and Michael Fondren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Southern Care Hospice; 1013 Medical Center Parkway; Frist-Howell Building 1 Suite 101; Selma, Alabama 36701 or the American Cancer Society.
