James Morgan

James D. Morgan passed away June 12, 2020 at the age of 78. He was born October 6, 1941 to the late Christopher Columbus Morgan and Pauline Marie Guthrie Morgan.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Nell Raines and Frances (Odell) Phillips; brother, Charles Morgan and son-in-law, Robert E. Eaton, Jr.

James was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather who is loved very much and will be tremendously missed.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Morgan; children, Lisa (Kevin) Murphy and Dawn Eaton; two grandchildren, Austin (Casie) Eaton and Kiley Murphy and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Dr. Jerry Light and Rev. Mike Wyatt officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital; 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
