James Parten, Jr.

James E. Parten, Jr. passed away January 9, 2021 at the age of 53. He was born June 22, 1967 to the late James and Sue Parten.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Parten; sons, Shane Parten, Alex (Megan) Parten; stepchildren, Ashley Burnside, Dawn Jimmerson, Kevin Jimmerson and Shelbie Gaouette; grandchildren, Lexi Beard, Lillian, Fisher, Haley, Hunter, Bella, Grayson, Payton and Gavin; sister, Susan Gibson; niece, Melissa Gibson; nephew, Anthony Gibson and great-nephew, Hunter Gibson.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City, Georgia. Graveside services will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma, Alabama directing.

Pallbearers will be Shane Parten, Joseph Gibson, Sr., Joseph Gibson, Jr., James Burnside, Lexi Beard, Gregory Grantham and Ashley Williamson.
