Jane Arban
December 5, 1937 — October 12, 2017
Jane Browning Arban passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the age of 79. She was born December 5, 1937 to the late William Edwin Browning and Olive Estelle Anderson.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and friend. Upon her father's retirement she became the owner of Browning Pest Control, which she successfully ran for a number of years. After retiring, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Mrs. Arban was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Joseph Arban, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Tracy (Phillip) Wiedmeyer and Pam (Jimmy) Boswell; grandchildren, Morgan Elizabeth Wiedmeyer, Nace Jennings Boswell, Brian Phillip Wiedmeyer, Lauren (Elliot) Wiedmeyer Walls; great grandchildren, Ethan Walls and Cora Walls.
The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Chapel services will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Lee Tate and Rev. Ira Blanchard officiating. Internment will take place at New Live Oak Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be Brian Wiedmeyer, Darrell Steward, Larry Hughen, Troy Melton, Steve Mills, and Lain Hartzog and Jerry Holmes.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Etheridge, Saul Tepper, Johnny Jones, Buddy Harden, Glenn Sexton, Lee Holiday, Stewart Burkhalter, John Teague, and Glenn “Boots” Wilson.
In lieu of flowers the family request do rations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
