J.C. Bedwell, age 84 of Selma passed away on Sunday November 15, 2009. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 18, 2009 at the Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Bill Gardner and Rev. Freddie Dixon officiating at 2:00 p.m. and burial following in New Live Oak Cemetery.
Mr. Bedwell is survived by his son, Lonnie (JoAnn) Bedwell, his daughter, Joann (Terry) Bell, his grandchildren, Brian Bedwell, Bradley Bedwell, Ricky Dover, Melissa (Andy) Holley, two great-grandchildren, January Holley and Levi Holley, his brothers, Willie Bedwell, Mack Bedwell, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Cahaba Hospice, 410 Church Street Selma, Al 36701.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
