She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Zebudah Ledbetter.
Surviving are her husband, David Daniels; sons, Lance Corporal David Michael Daniel USMC, and Jefferson Mark (Patricia Ann) Daniels; daughter, Debbie Lynn (Wayne) Walker; brothers, Jack (Barbara) Ledbetter and Billy (Jean) Ledbetter; sister, Jessie Pearl Dosier; grandchildren, Michael Brandon (Kim) Smith, Jennifer Jean (Brendan) Sansom, Marcus Layne Flournoy, Corporal James Trent Flournoy USMC, David Richard Daniels and Scarlett Elizabeth Daniels; great grandchildren, Alyssa Jordan Daniels, David Justice Daniels, and Ellie Harper Sansom; special grandchildren, Trey Walker, Toni (Chris) Ousley and Leslie (Tim) Motley; special great grandchildren, Thomas Nichols, Walker Motley and Chloe Motley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Ocmulgee Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Taylor and Rev. Danny Sumerlin officiating. Interment will be in Ocmulgee Baptist Church Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family received friends at the funeral home Monday, May 18, 2009 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and Mike McDowell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Center at Children's Hospital, 1600 7th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35233.
