Jean Ryan

Jean Gipson Ryan, age 84, passed away, Tuesday, May 24, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Ryan; son Steven Gregg Ryan; parents, John Henry and Ethel Jones Gipson; sisters, Dora Gipson and Olean Hardwich. Jean is survived by her son, James Patrick (Gayle) Ryan; daughter-in-law, Vivian Wych; grandchildren, Jessica Ryan (Bradley) Brandon and Paige Elizabeth Ryan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends including special niece and caregiver, Vicki O`Connor. Visitation will begin at 10:00 Friday, May 27, 2016. Funeral Services following at 11:30 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Northcutt officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Serving as pallbearers will be Bradley Brandon, Buddy Hardwich, Trey Hardwich, Scott Gray, Mark Gray, Spencer Ryan, Bill O`Connor and Randy McRae. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Taylor, David Griffin and Gary Scott. Jean was an active member of Eastmont Baptist Church and was in the Hope Sunday School class.
