Jeanette Sealy Tharp, age 62, of Selma, died Tuesday June 23, 2009. She was preceded in death by her brother. Elbert Sealy. Survivors include her daughter, Angie Rushing; grandchild, Ricky Rushing Jr., sisters, Willie Mae Pritchett, Jean Denmark, Frances Hubbard, Marian Dryden, Betty Carol Gaston (Wayne), Vera Denny (Ricky); brothers, Gerald Sealy (Brenda), Leon Sealy (Ruby), Ralph Sealy (Dale), David Sealy (Toni); sister-in-law, Luna Sealy, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A chapel service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday June 26, 2009 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with burial following at Pineview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday June 25, 2009 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ricky Rushing Jr., Farrell Denny, Ricky Denny, Ricky Rushing Sr., Darrell Sealy and James Vogler.
