Jerald D. Jackson, 76, of Orrville, Alabama, passed away on October 20, 2017.
The graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Orrville Town Cemetery. Brother John MacLaren of Orrville Baptist Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Lawrence Brown Funeral Home, Selma, Alabama.
Jerald Dempsy Jackson was born in Sprott, Alabama on October 11, 1941. Jerald was married to Judy F. Thompson on February 28, 1964; they were married 53 years.
Jerald is survived by his devoted wife, Judy F. Jackson, son, Jerald David Jackson and daughters, Tina (Randy) Pemberton, Carol (James) Wells and Cheryl (Greg) Kish.
Brothers, Wayne (Judy) Jackson, Ambus (Debbie) Jackson, Larry Jackson and sister, Catherine (Charlie) Hubbard.
Grandchildren, Amy (Brent) Seton, Aaron Pemberton, Austin (Shawntae) Pemberton, Emily (Paul) Waters, Allan Kish, Ashleigh Simmons, Grace Kish, Ameila Wells, Andrew Wells, John David Wells and Lydia Jane Wells. Great-grandchildren, Eli Parker, Avery Waters and Charlotte Waters and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Jerald is preceded in death by his parents, Mozell and Willie Esther Jackson, sister, Jane Fancher and brother in law, Sam Fancher.
Pallbearers will be David Jackson, James Jackson, Jared Jackson, Greg Kish, Allan Kish and Joey Thompson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Bracknell, James Wells and Randy Pemberton.
