Jerry Donald Ellis, age 81, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away June 24, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nora Ellis; brother, William A. Ellis and brother-in-law, J. B. McCrory.
Surviving are his wife, Hildred Ellis; children, Jeff Ellis (Sherley), Jamie Seaborn (Jess), Tonya Reagan (Patrick), Bengie Seaborn (Christie) and Jonathon Seaborn (Tonya); sister, Vivian McCrory; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Ellis; fourteen grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rod Rochester officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Archie Griffin and Joe Griffin.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donation be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
