Jerry Smith

Jerry Lane Smith, age 52, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at his home in Mobile, AL. He was preceded in death by his father, William "Bud" Smith; sister, Judy Smith Jones and step-father, James Bearden. He is survived by his partner of 27 years, Fred Myrick and Brody, his dog and faithful companion; mother, Marie Smith Bearden; sisters, Joyce (Bill) Bolin, Janice (Alex) Kennedy and Jennifer (Charles) Miller; brothers, Leon (Alicia) Smith, Julian (Darla) Smith and Jay (Heather) Smith; foster brother, Ronnie Rape; numerous nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great-nephews and extended family and friends. A memorial services will be held Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Sanders officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at 10:30 a.m.
