Jerry Sorrells

Jerry Wayne Sorrells, age 61, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away May 10, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Dorothy Best Sorrells, brother, Rickey Sorrells and sister, Ann Briney. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Hoggle Sorrells; children, Ryan Sorrells, Kelli (Levi) Hamilton and Laura Sorrells (Josh) Stover; brother, Earl (Bonnie) Sorrells; sisters, Carolyn (Dixie) Mayton, Reba Drinkard and Renee Sorrells and grandchildren, Nathan Stover and Rebekah Stover. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Praise Park Church of the Nazarene at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Larry Stover officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home officiating. Pallbearers will be Josh Stover, Harold Beggs, Butch Huffman, Carl Hays, Bobby Dolbare and Alvin Duncan. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Winn-Dixie on Highland Avenue. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to be made to Praise Park Church of the Nazarene, 1 Big Pine Drive, Valley Grande, AL 36701.
