Jessie Edward Williams, born July 16, 1939 to the late Zedie Edward Williams and Dorothy Mae Chandler, passed away September 23, 2014.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Martha E. Alsbrook (Russell).
Jessie is survived by his wife, Carolyn "Sue" Williams; daughters, Susan W. (Allen) Murray and Tracey (Brian) Griffin; grandchildren, Jenna Allyn Murray, Dallas Keith Griffin and Hannah Ashlyn Murray; brothers, Howard Williams, Stephen Williams and Charles "Billy" Williams; sisters, Norma Jean Moon, Ruby (Charlie) Ammons and Bonnie Pearl Scoggins
Graveside services will be Friday, September 26, 2014 at 11:15 a.m. in New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider making memorial donations to West End Baptist Church, 504 Cahaba Road, Selma, Alabama 36701.
