Jewel Stoudenmire age 85 of Selma passed away on Wednesday September 2, 2009 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 5, 2009 at the Chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Kenny Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery.
Mrs. Stoudenmire is preceded in death by her parents, Mr.and Mrs. Monroe Perry, her husband, Robert Stoudenmire, and her daughter, Charlotte Stoudenmire.
Mrs. Stoudenmire is survived by her sons, Robert E. (Gail) Stoudenmire of Maplesville, Gordon Stoudenmire of Selma, Steve Stoudenmire of Chattanooga, TN, her daughters, Denene Stoudenmire of Clanton, and Renee Stoudenmire of Selma, her grandchildren, Sherri Stoudenmire, Kristie Sanders, Melissa Stoudenmire, Tamara (Eric) Bearden, 6 great-grandchildren, and her sister, Flossie Campbell of Selma.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday September 4, 2009
