Jewell Dean Sanders, age 84, of Sardis, passed away January 4, 2017.
Mrs. Sanders is preceded by her husband: Clyse Sanders; parents: June and Lyda Posey, brother: Willie Posey; and grandson: “Little Jerry” Johnston.
She is survived by her children: Frances Johnston of Ashville, NC; Kathy Cochran of Selma, Wayne Nichols of Selma, Lawrence Nichols (Beverly) of Selma; David Sanders (Lisa) of Foley; brothers: Donald Posey of Selma, Earl Posey of Selma, Roger Posey of Selma; a very special sister in law and friend: Geral Posey of Selma; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Pineview Memory Gardens with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home from 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. Saturday.
Pallbearers will be: Jeremy Nichols, Tim Johnston, Brandon Johnson, Westley Nichols, Kevin Nichols, and Keith Dixon.
