Jimmie Davis Estes passed away June 3, 2015 at the age of 87. He was born January 11, 1928 to the late Ariel Davis Estes and Pearlene Ford Estes.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Eldon Estes.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dora Estes; sons, Dan (Betty) Estes and Bill Estes; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Brian) Schneider and Jennifer (Patrick) Martel; grandchildren, Zach Schneider, Zerin Schneider and Katie Martel; brother, Henry Estes and numerous extended family members.
Graveside services will be Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Palmer Cemetery in Furman, Alabama with Brother Willie Crawford officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Dave Lemons, Dave Falkenberry, Grant Lemons, Cole Falkenberry, Don Blankenship, Randy Campbell, Stanford Yates and Philip Stabler.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests you consider making memorial contributions to Bethsaida Baptist Church in Furman, Alabama.
