Jimmy Parker, Sr.

Jimmy Sterling Parker, Sr., 66, of Ramer, AL, passed away June 4, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Virgie Parker and brother, Marion Parker. He is survived by his wife, Carrie Jo Parker; children, Angela (John) Litwicki, Terry (Jenny) Hodo, Tony Hodo, Henry Parker, Tim Parker, Jimmy Parker, Jr. and Wendy Brown; sisters, Annette Parker, Judy Parker, Sandra Parker and Faye Parker; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one aunt; one uncle and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Sampey Memorial Baptist Church, 5394 Hwy. 94, Ramer, AL, with Rev. Robert James McMicken officiating. Interment will be in Providence Cemetery in Linden, AL with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Sampey Memorial Baptist Church.
