Jo McDowell

Jo Ellen Holt McDowell, age 74, a resident of Selma, AL, passed away Saturday, January 05, 2008. Mrs. McDowell was preceded in death by her son Dewayne Hinson. Surviving are her husband, Robert McDowell; sons, David McDowell, Robert (Francis) McDowell and Kelly (April) McDowell; brothers, Charles Holt and Lewis Holt; grandchildren, Kim (Bob) Petit, Thomas McDowell, Karen McDowell, Eric McDowell, Beth McDowell, Cody McDowell, Taylor McDowell and Autumn McDowell; great grandchildren, Sam McDowell, Tyler Mc Dowell, Caden McDowell, Sean McDowell, and Shana McDowell. Funeral services will be Monday, January 7, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Arch Bishop Charles Jones officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, January 6, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Contributing to the lives of children and family was her primary joy in life.
