Jo Sexton

Jo Ann Sexton, age 74, of Selma, AL, passed away December 18, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morrow and Elizabeth Miley Chance. Surviving are her husband, Glenn Sexton; children, William Glenn Sexton, Jr. and Mari Beth Diagostino; sister, Betty Maury (Ken) Schroeder; grandchildren, Laken Elizabeth Sexton, Christopher Hunter Hinson and William Parker Hinson, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Friday, December 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Light officiating. Interment will be in New Live Oak Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. at the church. Pallbearers will be John Scales, James Hines, Allen Edwards, Joe Sexton, Mike Sexton and Hunter Hinson. Honorary pallbearer will be Cecil Redd. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 1186, Selma, AL, 36702.
