Joan Sims

Joan Taylor Hadaway Sims, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband's, James Hadaway and James C. Sims. Mrs. Sims is survived by her children, Jim Hadaway, Jeanie Motes (Richard), Scott Hadaway and Josie Corey (David) all of Selma, 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, brothers, Jack M. Taylor and H.L "Tootie" Taylor.

A chapel service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday August 27, 2012 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Reverend Daniel Martin officiating and burial following in New Live Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Sunday August 26, 2012.

Pallbearers will be Randy Brown, Zac Self, Larry Langley, Richard Taylor, Scott Chamberlain, and Mark Cooper.
