JoAnn Mott

Mrs. JoAnn Mott age 80 of Selma, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma.

She was born December 14, 1943 to the late Archie Nichols and the late Ruby J. Nichols.

She was a childcare provider.

JoAnn was a lady that loved her family with her whole heart. Always thinking of them in every aspect of her life. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jesse Mott; children, Karen Plummer, Sharon (Donald) Scurlock, and Michael Mott; grandchildren, Nicole (Joey) Gorenflo, Jessica (Trey) Burnett, Justin Mills, Joshua Plummer; great-grandchildren, Ryan Gorenflo, Hunter Burnett, Collin Gorenflo, Tanner Burnett, Caden Banks, Emmie Gorenflo, Carson Gorenflo, and Everleigh Burnett.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Connor Mills.

The family will hold a private burial.

Final care has been entrusted to the Selma Funeral Home of Valley Grande, Alabama.
