Joe Bradford

Harold Joe Bradford, age 80. of Tyler, AL, passed away October 5, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Etta B. Bradford and parents, Jackson and Ola Bradford. Surviving are his children, Joan Elizabeth (Lee) King, William Cheyenne (Kathy) Bradford, Marilyn Zinke and Billie Jo Bradford (David Belcher); brother, John (Mary) Bradford; ten grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Sunday, October 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Yarbrough officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Harold was a member and deacon at Crosspoint Christian Church. In the past he was a member of the Lion's Club and Dallas County Board of Education. He worked as a water treatment technician and while he was employed he was the only tech in Alabama that held four degrees in waste water treatment. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Selma-Dallas County Public Library, 1103 Selma Ave., Selma, AL, 36701.
