Joe Killett, age 80, of Selma, AL passed away September 4, 2007 in a local hospital.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley P. Killett; step-daughter, Christie (Ronnie) Sawyer; one half-brother; 4 half-sisters; and two grandchildren, Lori Ann Henderson and Eric Pearson Henderson.
Graveside services will be Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Lee Tate officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 5, 2007 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Sawyer, Robert Caver, Eric Henderson, Sam Yarbrough and Troy Stokes and Dillan Cooper. Honorary pallbearer will be Dr. William Hinson.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eight Avenue, 6th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
