John Carlton Blackburn, 51, of Selma Alabama, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 29, 2015.after an extended stay in the hospital.

John was preceded in death by his father, Luther Willard Blackburn, Sr., mother, Olene Parker Blackburn, sister,Willa Dean Williams and brother, Luther Willard (L.W.) Blackburn, Jr.
He is survived by three sons, John Blackburn, Brandon Blackburn and Justin Blackburn, one sister, grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many close friends and loved ones.

Services will be held Monday, May 4, 2015, 11:30 a.m. at Valley Grande Baptist Church, 48 County Road 16, Selma, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Valley Grande Baptist Church or Crosspoint Christian Church.
