John Milton Britton Jr., age 87, of Selma, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013.
Mr. Britton retired from Phillies Cigar Company after 50 years of service.
He is survived by his wife: Lois Kirk Britton, Son: John M. Britton III, Sister: Hildridge Moseley, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday December 20, 2013 at the chapel of Lawrence-Brown Service Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Fancher and Rev. James Bozeman officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Pallbearers include: Mike Britton, Jamie Calvert, Doug Kirk, Jed Kirk, Ralph Roberts, and Roger Stockman. Honorary pallbearers will be the adult men's Sunday school class.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Summerfield Baptist Church or ones favorite charity.
