John Chance, Sr.

John Wilson Chance, Sr., age 76, of Selma, AL, passed away August 3, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo Chance; parents, Gilbert Chance and Bessie Chance Mobley and brothers, Jimmie R. Chance, Gilbert "Gary" Chance, Eddie Chance and George C. "Clem" Chance. Surviving are his children, Connie (John) Rogers, John (Jeannie) Chance, Jr. and Randy Chance; sisters, Ann (Milton) Pendley, Amanda (Brad) Bolton and Faye Lynn Arnold as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, Funeral services will be Monday August 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Byron Gibbs officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
